Day 1 - Flying Skills - Intensive power kite and 4 line SLE




The Day 1 - Flying skills lesson is a 5 hour land based intensive power kite and 4 line SLE lesson and is also the best way to decide "the marmite" love it hate scenario to confrim that kitesurfing is the way forward as your new and very exciting sport? Not only will you experience the unexpected thrills of power kiting that can be used for Kite buggying but also the more advanced 4 line SLE kitesurfing kite skills needed to take yourself to the water safely on Day 2 of our learn to kitesurf programme. This course includes all the safety kit and kites as needed for your course. Day 2 - Water skills



The Day 2 of our learn to kitesurf programme is based over 5 intensive hours and includes wet suits, boots, life jackets, helmets, harness`s and all of the Kites and Boards you will need. This Day 2 of our "Learn to Kitesurf" programme will teach you the more advanced kite flying skills needed to be safe and in control of your kite when in the water, be balanced and how to generate the power needed to create motion so that you are ready to water start on Day 3. Below is a short guide to your days kitesurfing lessons Recap and skills test to 4 line kite flying. Water relaunch. Tandem body drag with deep water relaunch Solo body drag Rights of way and beach skills More advanced skills for preperation to water start! Coaching is with IKO / BKSA instructors and includes all the kites, boards and safety equipment you will need. On completion an IKO certificate will be issued. For safety we teach at specific times related to low tide windows with side shore winds, We have a kayak on stand by at all times when water work is in progress for rescue should we need to. Day 3 - Board skills



Our Day 3 - Board Skills is a one day, 5 hour, intensive course to fast track 2 students to succesful water starts and pass IKO level 2. We start with a refresher to advanced kite skills so that you are ultimately safe and in control of a 4 line LEI and be able to demonstrate a controlled body drag and water relaunch. We then can move onto the finer points of water starting so board handling, coordination, balance, power control the list goes on. Over the years I have developed a supreme technique that works so well and pretty much guarantees water start and definately gives you the ability and technical understanding to keep you kitesurfing. Coaching is with IKO / BKSA instructors with no more than 4 students to one instructor, includes all the kites, boards and safety equipment you will need. For safety we teach at specific times related to low tide windows with side shore winds, We have a kayak on stand by at all times when water work is in progress for rescue should we need to. Safety is paramount!

Entry requirements:

To join the Day 3 - Board skills we would expect you to have passed our Day 2 - Flying skills lesson or be able to produce a current IKO Level 1 certificate(so no older than 3 months from the current date)from another school you may have had lessons with.
Of course you will need to physically demonstrate that you can;
Set up your 4 line SLE.
Launch and land using the correct signals.
Bodydrag in control, maintain balance in the water and perform a succesful water relaunch.

Kitesurfing - Private Coaching



Private coaching is key to success and the best way to extend your current skill level whether reluctant to get out there and practise water start which is a natural feeling many of you are experiencing or your water start technique is just not happening for you. Private coaching is the best solution as is using the correct kites and boards of which we provide for the duration booked. Of course you are welcome to bring your own kit of which we will check it over and address any set up issues there may be. Julius private rate is £50.00 per hour but should you range multiple hours directly a special rate will apply for you so call in on 07970 651 222 so Julius can ascertain exactly what is needed for you to succeed.
