Every year we hold a Charity Kitesurf Event. As kitesurfing is such a spectator sport we have a great turnout of supporters each year due to our attracting world class PKRA & BKSA kiteboarders to Nyali for a week of fun and fundraising in support of a local and international charitable organisation.
Entry requirements:
2010 will be the 5th year our Prosurf Extreme Charity Kitesurf Event will be supporting M.E.A.K. Medical and Educational Aid to Kenya as well as another local Charity that works with Coast General Hospital providing a gender based violence recovery centre(Rape Crisis Centre. The event week starts on the 8th to the 14th FEBRUARY 2010 – if you would like to enter, please pay your rider entry fee here and also subscribe to our newsletter so we can inform you of the actual race days as soon as they are announced. Recommended for: Someone who has completed beginner course but would like further instruction and supervision (novice). Someone who has started and stopped and has not kited for over 6 months. Includes: 3 days with Instructor. (5 hours per day) plus 3 further days full rental with a Kite Assistant Instructor monitoring your progress all for the price of one day rental. This course is only available at this price if booked online. Although you may have tried kiting before and done a beginner course, we will assess your level by covering some of the beginner course safety aspects and skills, and will move through the syllabus more quickly than a beginner course to the upwind body dragging and board skills.
