2 Day Beginners IKO Level 1 Kitesurfing Lessons
Taking kitesurfing lessons will be one of the best things you do this year, so why not learn at our kitesurfing school on the Isle Of Man. We run our courses strictly on IKO syllabus and standards of training. Come to the Isle Of Man for your kitesurfing lessons and learn the basics from kite set up to water starting in two days! The aim of this course is to make you at least a proficient IKO Level 1 kitesurfer. This course is land and water-based, starting with a 1.8m North Lizard foil kite and working up to a 5.5m North Buzz inflatble kite. If you do well you will then fly a 7m, and even 9m North Rebel kite. This course is ideally suited to weekends and will give you the experience needed to become safe flying kites on the land and in the water. We aim at getting all our students to a minimum of IKO Level 1 on their 2 days of kitesurfing lessons, if we do not get you to that level you will be invited back for another days tuition for free. All equipment will be provided for your lessons including wetsuits, helmets, and buoyancy aids. But you will need to bring Neoprene Boots and Gloves. You will be training for 5 hours per day. Your IKO Kiteboarders card will be issued shortly after your lessons to show what you have achieved on your course and your level of competant kitesurfing. IKO Level 2 Kitesurfing Lessons
This IKO Level 2 Kitesurfing course is aimed at kitesurfers who have done an IKO Level 1 beginners kitesurfing course with North Wales Kitesurfing or elsewhere, and are almost on the board and riding but need a little more tuition, or feel they would like to re-cap on body dragging and putting the kiteboard on their feet to boost their confidence. They know all the safety, are competent beach flyers, and know how to re-launch the kite. We can also cover turning, riding toe side, and your first jumps if you are ready. This kitesurfing course is 4hrs long and all equipment will be provided except Neoprene Boots and Gloves. If you have wetsuit etc you are welcome to bring them along to the course. If you have your own kite please bring it if the wind is good for it on the day. Using your own kite and board will give you more confidence for when you venture out into the water for the first time without an Instructor.
You can bring your own equipment to this course, or you can use our North Rebel Kites.

4 Weekend Fast Track
If you would really like to get Kitesurfing cracked we are now running Fast Track Courses. For £600 you will get 4 weekends of kitesurfing tuition. The first weekend will be as the 2 Day IKO Level 1 Course, then we will take your Kitesurfing skills onto new levels progressively over the next 3 weekends. This Course has set dates and you must be able to attend them.
